Which service do I need if I am not sure?
Describe the system and the deadline. If you have production infrastructure and nobody whose job it is to keep it running, it is DevOps as a Service or Managed Kubernetes. If you have a fixed date (an audit, a contract renewal, a cloud bill you have decided to stop paying), it is Security & Compliance Automation or Cloud Exit. If your developers are blocked on infrastructure, it is Platform Engineering. We will tell you which of the eight applies, or that none of them do.
Do you take over infrastructure someone else built?
Yes, that is the normal case. We start with an audit of what exists (clusters, pipelines, IaC coverage, monitoring, access) and give you a written picture of the state and the gaps before we change anything. We build on what is sound and refactor what is not. You do not need to clean up first.
How do you charge?
Two shapes, and every service card above states which one applies. Operations work is a monthly subscription scoped to your estate. Fixed-scope work (a migration, a compliance implementation, a platform build) is a project with a defined outcome and price, and it usually continues as a subscription if you want us to operate the result. No per-seat licence, no per-token billing.
What exactly do your AI agents do, and what are they not allowed to do?
Metatron performs read-only alert investigation and root-cause analysis; it cannot change infrastructure. Verdict proposes fixes as GitOps pull requests; it cannot merge its own pull requests. Every change passes through a named engineer who reviews and merges it. The agents shorten the time to a diagnosis and a proposed fix; they do not hold the authority to apply one.
Who is on call, and what happens at 3am?
Six engineers staff EU business hours and carry the on-call rota outside them. Overnight, the agents monitor continuously and investigate alerts; anything that crosses the escalation threshold pages the on-call engineer, who is a person named in your contract. Responsibility for uptime sits with the engineers, not with the software.
Can our data and workloads stay inside the EU?
Yes. Workloads can run in an EU region of your cloud, on dedicated EU hardware, or in your own datacentre, and you choose the named location. Private LLM deployments run on dedicated EU GPU servers or inside your own infrastructure, so prompts and outputs never leave it.
What is the minimum contract, and how do we end it?
Subscriptions run monthly with a notice period agreed at signing, typically one month, with no long lock-in. Projects end when the defined outcome is delivered and accepted. Ending an engagement is an offboarding process with a handover, not a switch being flipped.
What happens to the setup if we stop working with you?
You keep everything. Infrastructure runs on open source in your own accounts and repositories: Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes manifests, pipelines, dashboards and runbooks, all in code you own. There is no proprietary DigitalCare layer to remove and nothing stops working when we leave. We hand over with documentation and, if you want it, a training period for your own team.
